The coffin which was used to bury Ebony has stoked debates as people question the propriety of using one with a black colour.
Some have said that there could be spiritual connotations to the choice of colour for the casket but Michael Dela, Chief Executive Officer of Gisarg Caskets and Coffins, manufacturers of the coffin used to bury dancehall artiste, has said there is no cause for alarm.
But father of the late musician, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has explained why the family settled on a black coffin for their beloved daughter.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng said the coffin was to signify the name Ebony.
“I have always since day one cherished and pampered that girl. Ohemaa deserves the best” he stressed.
Ebony who died in a car accident on 8th February 2018, was buried on 24th March 2018
