Rashid Sumaila’s move to Rangers officially off after unexpected complications

Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila’s aim to move to Scotland has been shattered after complications in switch meant the club the will not pursue the deal again.

The defender has been linked with a move to Glasgow but the club is now focusing on other options after the deal fell through at the last minute.

His agent now faces a herculean task finding a club b for the player despite ha having a three year deal with Al Qadsia.

Sumaila is with the Black Stars who will play against the United States and Mexico.
