Soldier brutalises civilian

A video has emerged of a military officer severely beating a civilian.

The video of the incident, which is being circulated on social media, has generated debate on brutalities meted out to civilians by the military.

In the video, the soldier was seen flogging the young man as some onlookers in a vehicle pleaded in the local Twi language for the soldier to spare the gentleman.

But the military officer continued to beat up the victim.

It is not known when or where the incident happened or what provoked the soldier’s treatment of the civilian.
