Efya who used to live in Kumasi had to relocate to Accra when her mother Nana Adwoa Awindor enrolled at the NAFTI film school.
Graduating with a degree in Theatre and Music from the University of Ghana; the songstress who received voice trainings from some of her family members at a young age, gained national recognition throughout Ghana after she was announced the first runner up in Charterhouse’s Stars of The Future television show in 2008.
The “Gingam” hit maker took to her Instagram account to thank fans for supporting her and promised them of more good music to come.
In her IG post she said “Royal African daughter grateful for all that has come and for that which is to come.’’
