Ushered unto the stage by his newly signed artiste, Strongman, Sarkodie, dressed in an all-black attire, performed three of his latest songs, ‘RNS’, ‘Gboza’ and ‘Painkiller’ which features Nigerian act, Rundown.
The most captivating moment was when Rundown joined Sarkodie on stage to perform the ‘Painkiller’ track which appears to be a hit song. The audience sang along, danced their hearts out and applauded Sarkodie for his performance.
Although Sarkodie could not clinch the topmost award, he was adjudged the Hip-pop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year.
