72 year-old man found dead in a gutter

An old man, Kwaku Manu who is said to be about 72 years has been found dead in a gutter Thursday morning at Effiduase in the Ejisu- Juaben Municipal Assembly of the Ashanti region.

Eyewitnesses said the deceased attempted to jump over the gutter Wednesday night but unfortunately he slipped and fell into the deep gutter.

According to a brother of the deceased, his brother may have been drunk in the night and that could have been the reason why he could not jump over the gutter.

The body deceased has been deposited at the Effiduase government hospital whilst the Police in the area are investigating the incident.
