Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito stresses that the league is a marathon race, and his side are working hard to move closer to the teams at the top.
He believes the journey is long, but Kotoko can still position themselves well if they stay focused and keep pushing.
Asked if his players understand the goal of catching the leading clubs, he kept his message clear and steady.
"It's a marathon race. You can't just start and then some can start well but they can't end well. Some will be in the middle but they can't they can't they even may go some will be at the last but at the end of the day they will be at the first. So what what matters is the end justifies the means. So we are going to work seriously for that," he told Asante Kotoko TV.
Kotoko now turn their attention to Sunday’s clash with Dreams FC at Baba Yara Stadium. The match is set for December 14 at 3 pm, a key moment in their push to stay in the race.
