Karim Zito is focused on guiding Asante Kotoko back to winning ways as they prepare for Sunday’s clash with Dreams FC.
The coach has been open about the team’s recent struggles, stressing how important it is to end the first round on a positive note.
Kotoko have gone four games without a win, and Zito believes this is the moment they must turn things around. Meeting his former club makes the match even more interesting, but he insists the goal remains simple: get a victory and restore belief in the squad.
"They know me, I know them. They know how I work and I know how they work. But, for now, it's my boy who has taken over. So, it will it will be a nice game to be played because it seems like we know each other. But they coming here we still stick by our objective for winning the games. This is how I will take it," he told Asante Kotoko TV.
"We are we are going in to win because the last four matches of the first round to be ended. If you want to make any meaningful impact, let's be honest with ourselves that we have to start winning now because for about four games now we are yet to get a win which is very bad for the club,"
The match kicks off on Sunday, December 14, at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Stadium.
