Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito believes their dramatic 2-2 comeback against Medeama taught his players an important lesson about mindset.
He stressed that the team learned how far a strong “I can do” attitude can take them, especially in tough moments.
The Porcupine Warriors enter their clash with Hohoe United after three draws, one win and one defeat in their last five matches. Zito feels the character his team showed in the Medeama game will be crucial as they move forward.
When speaking about how their resilience could influence the next match, he explained:
"Well, I think it tells us a lesson that the mindset of I can do will always help you. The same players play the first half and the same players play the second half. So why they change is the mentality. So positive mentality you can go you can go far," he told Asante Kotoko TV.
Asante Kotoko currently sit 5th on the league table with 21 points from 12 games. They will face Hohoe United on Sunday at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.
