WAFA SC have announced the appointment of Prosper Narteh Ogum as head coach for their First Team.
He will be on the bench when the Academy Boys travel to the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa to face Karela United FC in their season opener on Sunday, 29 December, 2019.
A club statement on Boxing Day read: ''#WAFAcademy-We present to you our new head coach for the First Team. [Dr.] Prosper Narteh Ogum takes charge for the upcoming season. We wish him all the best.''
The 41-year-old is one of the sought-after CAF License A coaching certificate holders in the country.
Narteh previously worked with Ebusua Dwarfs in the Premier League on a short stint in 2016.
Before that, he masterminded the qualification of Elmina Sharks to the Division One League in 2013.
Narteh also lectures at University of Cape Coast's Department Of Health, Physical Education & Recreation (HPER).
