Ghana Football Association Executive Council member, Samuel Anim Addo urged coaches present at the workshop organized for all Premier, Division One and the Women’s Premier League to raise their standards as it is a key area for the new administration.
The workshop organized by the Technical directorate of the FA was aimed at building the capacity of the coaches, match day conduct and other essential areas of the game ahead of the upcoming season.
Speaking at the workshop, Anim Addo also encouraged the coaches to embrace innovations and prove their worth to the football fans.
Acting Communication Director for the Ghana FA, Tamimu Issah urged the coaches to take up the opportunity in availing themselves to the media For marketing and promotional purposes before and after games.
A detailed presentation on the GFA and club Licensing regulations was delivered by GFA Club Licensing Manager and Secretary to the Club Licensing Board Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi to keep the coaches abreast with new changes.
Present at the meeting were some top coaches such as Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah, Yusif Basigi and Evans Adotey who took the coaches through the training.
According to the Technical Director of the Ghana FA Oti Akenteng such programs will be organized to build the capacity of the coaches.
