Head coach of Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks believes Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are under pressure ahead of the second leg clash in the CAF Confederations Cup in Kumasi.
Despite a barren first leg game in Nairobi, Muluya is confident Sharks can upset the Porcupine Warriors in Ghana.
“Playing away is better, the home team will be under pressure and that might work for us. We are aiming at getting a win, a very possible thing; we played well at home, the only undoing was not getting the ball into the back of the net, but we will rectify that," he told Goal.com.
Kariobangi Sharks defeated Sony Sugar 2-0 in the second game of the Kenyan top flight on Wednesday and the gaffer believes the win is a morale booster for the game in Kumasi.
“Our league win against Sony Sugar is motivation and we hope it will give us the confidence we need to overcome Kotoko,” he added.
Coach William Muluya has named an 18 man squad for the trip to Ghana and they will be expected to touch down in Accra on Thursday before flying to Kumasi later in the day.
The winner of this match will qualify for the group stages of the competition.
