US Sassuolo manager Roberto De Zerbi is hoping Ghana international Kevin Prince Boateng will return to full fitness before their serie A clash with Inter Milan.
The 31 year old has been out injured since limping off in the game against Parma, but has started the rehabilitation process and is expected to make a quick return.
De Zerbi is hoping the striker return early enough for the games against Inter, Genoa and Cagliari in January.
"Boateng started the rehabilitation process, I do not know when it comes back, but it's not important when, it's important how it fits," he said.
"And 'the player who at the beginning of the year has moved more than the balance, so we have to work to get it back to 100%, I want the Boateng seen against Inter, Genoa, Cagliari, then he has not been 100% from a physical point of view " .
Boateng has scored five goals already in the season. He joined the Nerovredis in the summer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
