Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has been ruled out of US Sassuolo Sunday's Italian Serie A clash against Udinese through injury.
The 32-year-old suffered a muscular injury in their 2-1 loss against Parma and was replaced by Stefano Sensi on the 60th minute mark.
But reports from the Neroverdi camp on Thursday indicate that the former AC Milan ace has failed to recover fully from the injury and according to test report he will be out until 2019.
Boateng has scored four goals in 11 appearances for the side in the ongoing Italian Serie A campaign.
