Ghanaian midfielder Gershon Koffie returned from a long injury layoff to make a cameo appearance for Hammarby IF in their 4-3 win over Sundsvall in the Swedish Allsvenskan League on Saturday.
The 26-year-old returned to the Green and Whites in the close season after a successful loan stint with New England Revolution in the Major League Soccer.
The former Inter Allies enforcer has been sidelined with a knee injury since his return to Sweden.
However, after seven games into the season, he made his second debut for the club as he came on for Swedish midfielder Jeppe Andersen in the 77th minute during their 4-3 victory over Sundsvall.
The win over the weekend propelled coach Stefan Billbon's side to the summit of the standings with 19 points and a game in hand.
