Ghana forward Jordan Ayew grabbed the opener for Swansea City in their 2-0 win over Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the English FA Cup.
A 55th minute strike from the Ghanaian opened the virginity of the game and inspired the Wales side to fight on to victory.
Despite a heavy defeat to Brighton & Hovers in the Premier League on Saturday, the in-form Ghanaian ensured his side was fully inspired for the FA Cup clash.
Jordan who came from the bench emerged Man of the Match after his supersonic display on Tuesday night.
The game which ended barren before the break was given some breath of life when Jordan came from the dugout to fetch the opener ten minutes later.
English international Nathan Dyer increased the tally to 2-0 with ten minutes to end proceedings.
This is Jordan’s second goal in five FA Cup matches as he was on target in Swansea City’s 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.
The in-form Ghanaian has since scored 9 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions for The SWANS this season.
