Joseph Aidoo earned a yellow card for his celebration in Genk's 5-4 penalty win at Mechelen on Thursday night in the Belgian Cup and that has suspended him for their quarter-final clash.
The centre back converted one of the spot-kick to give the visitors a 4-3 lead.
He celebrated in front of the home fans and the referee adjudged him to have incited the spectators.
Aidoo has been key for Genk since breaking into the first team.
He was named the club's Player of the month of October.
