Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars Albert Yahaya Commey has played down talks of Ghana Premier League title decider against WAFA when the two sides clash in week 27 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Wednesday.
The Ogya Boys are in the driving seat to win their second league title in eight years as they occupying the summit of the log with 48 points with four games to end the season.
But the club must first see off the challenge of WAFA, who are sitting second spot with 47 points when the two teams square off at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in midweek.
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Albert Commey reckoned the challenge of facing the Academy side but says the outcome of the result might not decide where the title will go at the end of the campaign.
"When you look at the remaining matches I think the people saying this game is the decided might not be far from the truth because whichever team that wins this match will get added advantage," says Commey on Happy FM's Anopa Bosuo Sports.
"However, it might also not determine the league title outcome because after this match it will be left with three games which means nine points. When you're leading with four points, it doesn't only conclude it due to the formidability of the two teams in play."
"WAFA barely lose a game at home likewise us to so it a very important match. We as Aduana are looking at it from a three points that we need at all cost but we have to make sure we fight for it and we're ready for that."
