German Bundesliga ambassador Anthony Baffoe has been remembered for one of his goals for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the 1990/1991 season.
Baffoe scored the second as Dusseldorf went on to win 3-2 against St Pauli.
In 1983, Baffoe became only the third-ever player of African origin to make the step up to the Bundesliga.
He went on to notch up 199 matches in the top two divisions for 1. FC Köln, Rot-Weiss Oberhausen, Stuttgarter Kickers, S.C. Fortuna Köln and Fortuna Düsseldorf, scoring 19 times.
Baffoe is among nine ex-professionals Jiayi Shao and Jörg Albertz (China), Steven Cherundolo (USA), Pavel Pardo (Mexico), Wynton Rufer (Oceania ), Bum-Kun Cha (South Korea) and Paulo Sergio ( Brazil ) who have been named Bundesliga Legends Networks.
