Asante Kotoko SACK head coach Zdravko Lugarusic after four months in charge

Asante Kotoko have confirmed terminating the contract of head coach Zdravko Lugarusic after just 11 matches in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors wielded the axe after Sunday's uninspiring peformance in the 0-0 draw with Ebusua Dwarfs at home.

According a publication on the club website, the decision was taken after a emergency management meeting at their secretariat.

''Zdravko’s contract has been terminated. He has accepted the official notification given to him. Assistant coach, Godwin Ablordey will train with the team until further notice,'' the club's head of Communications Obed Acheampong told Asantekotokosc.com.
