Medeama SC could see their season troubles compounded if they fail to win in the midweek against nemesis Asante Kotoko SC at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.
The Yellow and Mauves are still chasing their first victory since their match day one win over West African Football Academy.
They drew 1-1 with Tema Youth FC last weekend.
The Tarkwa based side have a boosted squad ahead of the Porcupines visit as they welcome back Paul Aidoo and Bernard Ofori Danso.
Bennett Ofori has also returned to face former club.
First goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi will be in posts to face Asante Kotoko SC for the first time since leaving there during the transfer window.
Asante Kotoko SC saw their 100% home record ended in frustration when they were held to a scoreless stalemate by Inter Allies FC at the Babayara stadium last Sunday.
The draw has made the Porcupine Warriors go two games without a win for the first time this season.
They hope to capitalize on their record against the Yellow and Mauves to make rapid amends.
Abass Mohammed and Kwame Boahene are in squad for the trip to the west.
The duo are visiting the Tarkwa and Aboso park for the first time since they left Medeama SC for the Kumasi club.
Emmanuel Gyamfi is likely to start on Wednesday. He started from the bench in their draw last Sunday.
Ernest Sowah is ruled out of this game with an injury.
