Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has admitted that there is pressure on the team ahead of the last 10 matches in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
After 24 matches, the Hunters find themselves in the 13th position in the league standings with just 30 points.
Currently three points above the relegation zone, Bechem United need to fight for as many points as possible in the remaining matches to avoid suffering relegation at the end of the season.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of his team’s Week 25 encounter against Nations FC, Kobina Amissah acknowledged that his team is under pressure and will need to fight to get themselves into a good position on the league table.
“I think we are working very hard on the boys. Psychologically, we work on them. And today we will see different approach at our training. And before the match, we have to psyche them up. Of course, looking at the position that we find ourselves now, there is pressure in terms of moving from where we are to get to be among the top 10,” the coach told Bechem United TV.
Amissah continued, “We'll focus and then psychologically, we prepare ourselves so that this record will not be the first time to be broken, and we'll make sure we work hard to sustain that record. This not going to be the first time of breaking that record.”
The Week 25 Ghana Premier League fixture between Bechem United and Nations FC will be played on Friday, March 6.
