He starts work officially on 01 May and will play five matches in three months from June.
''He should the team back to winning ways, he should help the team to win back these are the most important things we expect him to do as a coach,'' Ghana FA vice chairman George Afriyie told Abusua FM.
''What has changed is that it’s been three years since he left, since he left the face of the team has change and things have also not been the same.
''Let me make this point clear I have heard some of you the journalists say Kwesi Appiah was sacked by the Ghana Football Association after the country’s 2014 world Cup debacle which isn’t the case.
''The truth of the matter is the FA had a press conference with he [Kwesi Appiah at the Alisa Hotel after the mundial and told him we had fate in him and even renewed his contract so i feed bad when I hear them make such false reports.''
