Kaizer Chiefs' assistant coach John Paintsil jumped over Amakhosi coach Steve Komphela after climbing on his back in celebration of the club beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 to move to second place in the Absa Premiership on Saturday night.
Paintsil, a long standing friend of Amakhosi coach and his assistant has been enjoying his time in the rainbow nation but this weekend’s 2-1 win over the Brazilians will certainly rank amongst the best they have both shared together.
It was a big win for the Glamour Boys because not only did it see them jump from fourth to second on the standings‚ but it also kept Sundowns rooted to fifth place.
Chiefs celebrated this victory as if they had won a cup because it was their biggest win this season. It was the first time that they had beaten a team in the top five.
