Head coach of Tema Youth Edward Nii Odoom has expressed disappointment in his players following their 1-1 stalemate with Medeama SC in week 9 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Harbour Boys failed to make home advantage count after their blistering start to game against Medeama at the Tema Sports Stadium, where in-form striker Michael Kpovie opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, only for Benjamin Bature to equalized for the away side in the 63rd minute to end the match in a stalemate.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Nii Odoom said, "I am disappointed in my players."
"They did not adhere to our game plan and that has cost us maximum points."
"We went with three attackers so that whenever we are attacking we could also keep eyes on their flanks but in the dying minutes you could see they allowed Medeama to attack from the flanks which made things difficult for us."
"But we will solve it before our next game," he deduced.
Tema Youth occupy 9th spot with 11 points from nine matches.
