The Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association Francis Oti Akenteng has expressed disheartened by recent untimely death of Ghanaian veteran coaches.
In the past 12 months, the nation has lost five of its veteran coaches including Herbert Addo, whose untimely demise was pronounced last Friday after a short illness at the 37 Military Hospital.
In an interview with Winneba-based Windy Bay FM, “I and coach Didi Dramani had been with him since he was admitted at the hospital and we were at the scene when the tragedy happened”. He said, it is his prayer that the mercies of God will be their portion.”
“We are losing all the experience coaches in Ghana and that is very unfortunate, these are coaches most of the young guys looked up to.”
