Rwanda appoint German Antoine Hey as Amavubi head coach
The Rwanda Football Federation has appointed German Antoine Hey as the head coach of their senior national team the Amavubi.
The RFF in a statement revealed that Hey emerged the suitable candidate above Swiss Raoul Savoy and Portugals Jos Rui Lopes guas following interviews on Monday.
The 46-year-old, Hey, is expected in Kigali soon, where he will be unveiled before he starts his responsibilities, Ferwafa said in a statement.
Rwanda had been without a permanent coach since Northern Irishman Jonny McKinstry was sacked last August.
Hey has previously managed Lesotho, The Gambia, Liberia and Kenya.
