Bobikuma (C/R), Dec. 22, GNA - Odifo Kofi Gyan, the founder and leader of Rabbi Healing Church at Bobikuma in the Agona West Municipality, has called on the public to shun fake pastors and prophets who seek to create hatred and enmity in families.
He said “God’s calling to preach the gospel to win souls is entirely different from people who without directives from the Holy Ghost were using their minds and tactics to deceive people.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Upper Bobikuma, Odifo Gyan said, the rate at which some pastors and prophets have become materialistic should be an eye opener for the decerning public to be on their guard.
He said there is the need to be wary of the ‘end time men of God’ who have various claims of ‘messiah-hood’ and could command mountains to move and heal lepers but were spreading absolute falsehood and urged all worshippers to study the word of God diligently.
“It is sad to note that some pastors use many tricks to let people pay huge sums of money as consultation fees before they could see them to tell their problems” Odifo Gyan said.
“What would happen to the poor, the sick and vulnerable who could not afford to pay such huge amounts before seeing the pastor or prophet”, the Leader and founder Rabi Healing Church asked.
“The Lord Jesus Christ told the multitude that God gave the healing power free and it is incumbent on us as men of God to do same to people who are needy to get their healing free of charge”.
Odifo Gyan said God’s rapture would surely happen and it was important for true men of God to preach about it.
He called on the pastors and prophets who make predictions on Presidential and Parliamentary elections to stop such acts since it is not part of biblical teachings.
Odifo Gyan said fake pastors who do not change their ways would soon face the wrath of God, adding that rapture is just around the corner and it was time people repented and lived righteous lives.
