Tema, Jan 31, GNA - Francis Mugnanla Nabegmado, the suspected murderer of Reverend Doctor David Nabegmado, Senior Pastor of the Central Assemblies of God Church, at Tema Community Four is yet to complete series of psychiatric medical examinations.
This came to light when he appeared before the Tema TDC Magistrate Court presided over by Mrs Akosua A. Adjepong for the third time.
Nabegmado was arraigned before the court and put on provisional murder charge after he allegedly stabbed and slashed the throat of the pastor who was his uncle on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the church premises.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Jacob Asamani, prosecuting, told the court that nine out of the 10 recommended tests had successfully been carried out.
ASP Asamani added that they hoped to complete the tests by the next sitting for the reports to be presented to court.
Some church members and family members expressed their misgivings at the numerous adjournments as they pleaded an expedited hearing.
