Koforidua (E/R), Dec. 12, GNA - The Assemblies of God (AG) Ghana, Glory Temple branch at Densuano near Koforidua, in collaboration with the Youth Department of the New Juaben Central branch of AG has launched a non-denominational gospel music program at Koforidua.
The programme dubbed "Doxa Praise" was aimed at using music to win the youth for Jesus Christ.
Speaking at the launch, Rev. Lambert Xatsi, head pastor of Glory Temple AG said, Doxa Praise would be an annual event to bring all the youth in the Eastern Region together to give honour, thanks and praise to God for his protection throughout the year.
Rev. Xatsi said the programme would include lecture, choreography and live musical performance.
He announced that this year’s edition of Doxa Praise would be held at Glory Temple AG Auditorium, at Densuano on December 14 at 6.30pm.
Rev. Xatsi said, the programme would be used to introduce some new young gospel artistes in Koforidua like Francis Boateng, Charles Kudwo and Sylvester Obeng.
Mr Jude Gameti, the Organizing Secretary for Doxa Praise and also Youth President of Glory Temple AG, said the programme was free and invited all the young people in Koforidua to attend.
He said the doors of the organizers were opened to all religious organization and individuals who want to be part or support the programme.
