Ho, April. 05, GNA - Mr. Felix B. Chaahaah, Chief Director at the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council has expressed dissatisfaction at the attitude of heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the Region to work.
He noted that absenteeism, laziness and lack of time consciousness by the heads accounted for their inability to achieve projected objectives.
Mr Chaahaah who was addressing the Regional Coordinating Council meeting on Thursday said the situation was affecting implementation of government policies and programmes and called for attitudinal change.
He asked them to be meticulous with work and give “technical back up support” to the Coordinating Council and the Regional Minister for the rapid socio-economic development of the Region.
Mr Chaahaah said the Coordinating Council was enhancing its monitoring activities and urged the Heads to be up their responsibilities and be innovative to meet performance agreements signed.
“This is how we have always done it, this is how we do it must stop as they will not help us to be innovative” he said.
Mr. Kwame Amponfi, Volta Regional Sport Director lamented over the lack of sporting facilities in the Region and called on government to help restore water supply to the Ho and Kpando mini- stadia.
