He stated that Shell was reinforcing its innovative leadership in the industry by introducing the Shell Motorist application with exciting and extensive features to make customers’ lives easier and more convenient in the digital era.
Mr Faulkner said the “News and Products” application provided information on new product launches, promotions, and special offers at the shell stations, including offers from partners.
Shell Motorist app users would have access to “Mi garage” feature, which would help customers to keep track of their vehicle’s maintenance and provide personalised reminders for next oil, as well the latest updates on lubricants.
The Managing Director said the “Shell Drive” feature, also helped to record users’ trip with the aim of improving driving efficiency and style.
With the “Shell Drive”, he explained: “You will compare your driving efficiency with other drivers in Ghana in a league to win some exciting prizes based on points that you earn. Improving your driving style will help you save on your fuel consumption.”

“In 2011, Shell reinforced its fuel innovation leadership by introducing the New Shell Diesel Extra and Super Extra with fuel economy formula to provide motorist extra kilometres at no cost,” he stated.
Shell introduced the Shell Fuel Card onto the Ghanaian market in 2009 for fleet owners and followed it up with the Personal Shell Card in 2013 for individuals.”
