Parliamentarian presents water tank to school

Goaso (B/A), Nov. 8, GNA – Mr Robert Sarfo-Mensah, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo North has presented a water tank estimated at GHC1,800.00 to the authorities of Ahafoman Senior High Technical School (ASHTS) at Goaso in the Brong-Ahafo Region. He said the water tank would not only make provision for potable water, but also help to prevent water-borne diseases among the students who were forced to use nearby streams during acute water shortages. Mr Sarfo-Mensah advised the students to be law-abiding and refrain from acts that would affect their education. They should also use the appropriate channels to seek redress to their concerns. Madam Victoria Owusu Kyeremaah, Headmistress of the school expressed appreciation for the donation, saying that it would assist in addressing the acute water shortage facing the school.
