MOG making his entrance at the New Wine Concert
Social media is buzzing with excitement after gospel musician, Nana Yaw Boakye, popularly known as MOG, made a grand entrance reminiscent of a “Grammy-style” performance at the recently concluded New Wine Concert at 10, Accra Edition.
The event, celebrating a decade of ministry, took place at the Oil Dome, Royalhouse Chapel International on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Dressed in a stylish two-piece wine suit, MOG descended from the top of the Oil Dome auditorium on a dazzling floating stage, illuminated as he serenaded the audience with a medley of his popular songs, including ‘No Doubt’, ‘My God’, and ‘Grace’.
A video shared on his social media page captioned, “It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s not Look Up, it’s @MOG! That’s what we call a grand entrance,” garnered enthusiastic responses from his fans who flooded the comment section with congratulations and admiration.
Fans like Official Nana Tachie expressed their admiration, “Love the entrance, you nailed it MOG. Gospel musicians can make grand entrances too.” Ashong Eunice also wrote, “Your elegant classic entry blew me away. You are simply exceptional. What an incredible programme!”

The New Wine Concert also featured performances by renowned artistes such as Nacee, Ntokozo Mbambo from South Africa, Kweku Teye, Kobbe Mante, Kingzkid, and the God’s Own Crew, delivering outstanding performances to the delight of attendees.

The Kumasi edition of the New Wine Concert is set to take place at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on March 24, 2024.
