A research study conducted by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), the Regional Brand Index (RBI) 2022, which highlights the economic and tourism potentials of each of the sixteen (16) regional brands in Ghana has gained maximum momentum after its launch this year.
Addressing the 33rd Annual General Meeting the National President of CIMG, Dr. Kasser Tee indicated that the regional brand index survey conducted across the 16 regions of Ghana to unearth and highlight the economic and tourism potential of each region has gained intensive attention leading to series of stakeholder engagement with various ministries, agencies and some private sector organization across the country.
“It is worth mentioning that the CIMG Regional Brand Index after its launch on April 20th this year has had various stakeholder engagements with the ministries on the report. Discussions centred on how the final report product can be used as a marketing document for the regions and the country at large” he added.
Dr. Kasser Tee stated, “The report is useful for policymakers, businesses, tourists, travelers, and other stakeholders”.
He also indicated that the second wave of the CIMG Customer Satisfaction Index CSI in July 2022 for the banking industry of Ghana is ready to be outdoored in the coming weeks and also in the data collection phase of the CSI study for business schools adding, “We have had successful stakeholder discussions to pilot similar surveys for the other sectors”.
The occasion witnessed the induction of 57 CIMG members comprising 34 full members, 20 Associate Members, and one Corporate Member.
Some 32 members were recognized and awarded with certificates of participation in the CIMG PMQ exams at various levels. In Pathway 3 Essuman Adjekum Albert received the Emerging Best Student in Brands Management
While Ahljah Bright, Otopah Akuffo Alex, Odonkor Narkie Agnes and Menka Mawuse Adzo Priscilla were honoured with Emerging Best Student in Sport and Entertainment Marketing, Emerging Best Student in Financial Services Marketing, Emerging Best Student in Agric-business Marketing, Emerging Best Student in FMCG Marketing respectively.
