Waste management firm, Zoomlion Ghana Limited says it has not purchased one of EIB Network’s radio stations, Live FM as purported in a section of the media.
According to the firm, the report ‘is a wicked and calculated attempt to pitch Zoomlion Ghana
Limited against the EIB Network”.
Over the weekend, some media houses reported that one of the radio stations belonging to EIB Network; Live 91.9 FM has been sold to Zoomlion Ghana Limited.
This stirred major discussions among the general public.
Although the EIB Network has not responded to these claims, Zoomlion, in a statement says it “has not contemplated the acquisition of the FM station” and has “referred the matter to our Legal team for the right cause of action”.
“Zoomlion Ghana Limited, therefore, wishes to assure Ghanaians that its focus will continue to be on working assiduously to help the country address its sanitation problems,” the statement added.
