National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary aspirant for the Madina Constituency, Francis Xavier Sosu has emerged victorious in the party’s parliamentary primaries held on Saturday.
Mr. Sosu swept to victory with 662 votes.
His opponents Sidi Abubakar, Ibrahim Faila Fuseini and Haija Rukaya, had 480, 219 and 16 votes respectively.
This was the lawyer’s third attempt at contesting the party’s primaries within the Madina Constituency.
The Madina seat is currently being occupied by Abubakar Boniface Siddique of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
