Rapper Sarkodie has tipped Kweku Smoke to win the Best Rapper of the Year award in 2025.
During a performance of “Yedin,” Kweku Smoke’s single featuring Sarkodie, the widely acclaimed “Landlord” of Ghana music crowned Kweku Smoke as the best rapper of the year.
Kweku Smoke recently held his first headline concert in Accra on December 18, 2024. The Kweku Smoke Revival Concert featured performances from artists such as Kweku Smoke, Sarkodie, Omar Sterling, Gyakie, the Asakaa Boys, and Beeztrap KOTM.

Kweku Smoke expressed his appreciation to the attendees in a post on X: “Still buzzing from last night’s unforgettable experience. To everyone who came out, sang along, and shared this unforgettable experience, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making Revival a memory I’ll cherish forever. IT’S UP FROM HERE!”

Online comments suggest that Revival Concert attendees found the event enjoyable. However, the late start of the performances drew some criticism.
