The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has urged the electorate vote for him and the 276 parliamentary candidates of the party.
He said a vote for the NDC will turn the country’s fortunes around for the better.
Mr Mahama painted a gloomy picture for the country if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is retained in power.
“The time to replace poverty and insecurity is now. The time to restore the economy is now. The time to liberate Ghana is now. The 7th December election is a choice between the Ghana today and the Ghana we want,” he stated during the party’s final rally at the Zurak park in Madina, Accra on December 5.
Mr Mahama assured of “a Ghana where your dreams can become reality. The youth deserve well-paid jobs and women deserve to reach their full potential.”
He reiterated his commitment to implementing a 24-hour economy “that will create millions of jobs for all.”
“I will make food more affordable, I will work with 60 ministers and deputies. I will scrap exgratia. I will fight corruption and implement Operation Retrieve All Loot. Take action on Saturday,” the NDC flagbearer appealed.
