The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong has noted that the Akufo-Addo led administration has built more roads in his region than the previous administration.
He said 1,859.62 kilometres more have been constructed since 2017.
Mr Seth Acheampong made the remarks at the Eastern RegionalTown Hall Meeting and Exhibition at the Centre for National Culture in Koforidua on Tuesday September 3.
For his part, the Deputy Minister for Finance, Dr Alex Ampaabeng also stated that Government’s policies on the economy have been designed to enhance economic resilience and create opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.
The Presidential Adviser on Health, Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare announced that 50% of the Agenda 111 hospitals are set to be completed and handed over soon.
In her opening remarks, the Minister for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar explained that the meetings served as a platform to bridge the gap between the Government and the public, fostering trust and ensuring transparency.
The event also featured exhibitions showcasing Government initiatives and projects in various sectors of the economy, including infrastructure, roads, health care, and education.
