Actor/entertainment critic, James Clarke, has urged pastors to give their synagogues or worship centres to secular acts as event centres.
“What is the capacity of the National theatre? The pastor should avail their auditoriums to secular artists to do their concerts,” he told Christian Agyei Frimpong.
Explaining his stance on Onua FM’s Anigye mmere show, the actor said churches have big spaces that can host more patrons.
“The artists need big auditoriums to perform, right? And the church community has it, so they should give it to them to perform. After all, they all go to church. By so doing, they get money to feed their families and give to the church as well,” he explained.
James Clarke further indicated, “A section of the youth will never go to church but attend events of their favourite secular acts. Give your churches to them, and after their performances, preach to them. This is a simple way of winning souls or doing evangelism.”
