![Education Reform Series 1: Only teacher’s ill-health causes pupils to miss school whole term](http://ghheadlines.com/images/default.png)
Pupils of one of the island communities in the Kwahu Afram Plains North district of the Eastern Region missed an entire school term because their head teacher who handles all the classes by himself was ill.
The primary four pupils did not also participate in the National Standardized Test organized by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
Our reporters Komla Adom and Yvonne Neequaye Agyapong travelled more than six hours via road and an hour across the Afram River to the Togorme D/A Primary School in the first of a series of reports focusing on education reforms.
