Another fire has gutted more than 50 shops at the Suame Magazine industrial enclave in Kumasi specifically at Old Suame Magazine area behind the Methodist church.
The inferno occurred in the early hours of Tuesday January 12.
An eye witness explained that the fire sparked from the roofing of one of the buildings and subsequently spread to other structures.
Fire fighters had a tedious task of dousing the inferno as a result of difficulty in accessing the area.
No casualties have been recorded as of the time the eyewitness was reporting.
The Suame Magazine enclave is a major industrial hub for artisans and also noted to be the biggest industrial and garage in West Africa.
This comes just few hours after sveral wooden structures at Dagombaline in Kumasi were gutted by fire.
The incident occurred in the afternoon on Monday January 11.
The structures, according to reports, served as makeshift shelters.
