Ghana’s coronavirus cases since Thursday, March 12, 2020 when the first two index cases were confirmed are now 34,406.
This was confirmed by the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, at the Minister of Information’s bi-weekly press update on Tuesday, July 28.
He added that recoveries-cum-discharges have now gone beyond 30,000. They are now 30,621.
The deaths remain 168, leaving the active cases under management across the nation at 3,617.
He said these figures were obtained after 782 new cases were confirmed as of Sunday, July 26.
