24-year old Hassan Salifu allegedly stabbed the prophet to death Monday night during road rage incident
The taxi driver who allegedly stabbed to death a renowned pastor in Takoradi during a road rage incident Monday night has been arrested.
Prophet Frank Agyekum popularly known as Odeefo Nkwantabisa of the Charismatic Grace Chapel of Assakae was stabbed to death at about 9:00pm Monday at the Race Course Junction at Apremdo.
Reports say the prophet who was driving a Benz saloon car and the taxi driver were caught up in a road rage at the traffic intersection during which the prophet was said to have hit the taxi driver who then pulled a knife from his car to stab the prophet in the chest.
Odeefo Nkwantabisa is a popular radio preacher
He was rushed to the Jemimah Hospital at Kwesimintsim but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The taxi driver, 24-year old Hassan Salifu, fled the scene but has been arrested in an attempt to re-spray the colour of his taxi. He was in the process of changing the black and yellow colour of his VW Golf 2 with the registration GT 3781- T when he was arrested by the Police in Kwesimintsim.
Western Regional Public Relations officer of the Ghana Police Service, ASP Olivia Ewurabena Adiku, confirmed the arrest to Takoradi-based Connect FM.
