Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo has presented an official Ghana 2026 World Cup jersey to Al-Swehly president Ibrahim Al-Dbeibah.
The 28-year-old joined the Libyan club on a two-year contract after leaving Spanish side Real Oviedo at the end of last season.
Sibo, regarded as one of Al-Swehly's senior players and an important member of the squad, handed over the jersey to Al-Dbeibah on Thursday.
The midfielder joined the club after helping Ghana at the 2026 Fifa World Cup, where he featured in all four of the Black Stars' matches.
Sibo played 249 minutes at the tournament, starting in Ghana's goalless draw against England and also featuring in the group-stage matches against Panama and Croatia before playing against Colombia in the last 32.
He has now turned his attention to club football, with Al-Swehly preparing for the decisive second leg of their Caf Champions League preliminary-round tie against KVZ FC.
Sibo and his team-mates are currently in Zanzibar ahead of Sunday's match, which kicks off at 12:00 GMT.
Al-Swehly will progress to the second preliminary round if they overcome KVZ, where they would face either Botswana's Gaborone United or Tanzanian giants Young Africans.
Sibo is registered to play should Al-Swehly advance to the next stage.
