The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed an all-Democratic Republic of Congo officiating team for Ghana's FIFA U17 Women's World Cup qualifier against Senegal.
The first-leg encounter will be played on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Diamniadio-Abdoulaye Wade Annex Stadium in Senegal, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
Rachel Zihindula Nzigire has been named as the centre referee for the crucial qualifier.
She will be assisted by Bienneureuse Elaeis Tomakwiza and Mireille Kanjinga Mujanayi, while Tabitha Botendra Nzola has been appointed as the fourth official.
CAF has also confirmed that Oumou Souleymane Kane of Mauritania will serve as the match commissioner, with Algeria's Moula Slidja appointed as the referee assessor.
The fixture marks an important step in Ghana's quest to qualify for the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, with the Black Maidens aiming to secure a positive result away from home before the return leg.
The Black Maidens are among Africa's most successful youth women's national teams and will be hoping to continue that tradition by overcoming Senegal to move a step closer to another appearance at the global tournament.
Both teams are expected to battle fiercely at the Diamniadio-Abdoulaye Wade Annex Stadium as they seek an advantage ahead of the decisive second leg.
