Hearts of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has admonished his players to fight and win their two remaining home matches in the Ghana Premier League.
The team from Kpando currently sits 11th in the league standings with 39 points, heading into the last three matches of the campaign.
Out of the three matches, Heart of Lions will host Nations FC and FC Samartex at home, before facing Medeama SC on the last matchday.
Speaking after Heart of Lions drew goalless with Aduana FC over the weekend, Bashir Hayford assured supporters that his side will work hard to win their remaining home matches.
“We have 39 points. We have two home matches which we have to work well and prepare for. To our fans. I always say it’s not over until it’s over. We have three more matches to play. We have learnt our lessons, and we are not going to repeat our mistakes. We thank everyone for their support,” Bashir Hayford said.
With just four points above the relegation zone, Heart of Lions must give everything in the last three matches to avoid the drop at the end of the season.
