Accra Hearts of Oakthrashed visiting Real Tamale United 3-0 in their match day 18 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium, yesterday.
Striker Hamza Isaah got the opener on 18 minutes before adding his second on 40 minutes.
Substitute Enoch Asubonteng added the third goal 20 minutes from the end to put the game beyond the visitors.
Meanwhile, Heart of Lions boosted their survival fight with a 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in their match day 18 encounter on Saturday in Kpando.
The first half saw both teams create chances, but neither could find the back of the net.
However, the deadlock was broken in the 52nd minute when Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah scored for Heart of Lions, sending the home fans into raptures.
Asante Kotoko pushed hard to equalise, but their efforts were thwarted with the expulsion of defender, Nicholas Mensah,for a second yellow card.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, they continued to fight for a goal, but Heart of Lions’ defence remained solid, denying them any clear-cut opportunity.
The win takes Heart of Lions from the bottom to 16th place with 18 points, while Asante Kotoko remains in third place with 29 points ahead of yesterday’s games
