Ghana’s U-17 women’s side, the Black Maidens, delivered an emphatic performance with a 10-1 victory over Teshie Constant Ladies in a friendly at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
The dominant display forms part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, where they are set to face Togo.
The match offered head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa and his technical staff the opportunity to test combinations, build match fitness and assess the squad ahead of the crucial fixtures.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to arrange additional friendly matches in the coming days as preparations continue.
The convincing win is likely to boost morale within the camp as the Black Maidens push to secure another appearance on the global stage.
